What is better for saving money on electricity, turning the AC off when you leave, or leaving it on?

I’ve hear both, and with $4.00 gas and 100 degree summers, every little bit helps. If you have a link, that would be great.

get a programable thermostat.. itll save you a lot.. i would say if you dont want to buy one…just keep the air on like 78 when you are away..and when you come home put it on no lower than 72.. and it will help. I always leave mine on 78.. when its hotter I’ll do 75..
